Texturing Myth

Post by jonathlee »

May I know how is the usage of the "Exclude from Vstack for Kray?" Just for glass surfacing or anything have Refraction?

And if the Specular and Glossiness still in use since the Reflection + Blur Reflection + Color Highlight seems do the work.

Sorry for me noob question.

dont know about vstack...

but specular and glossiness are fakes from older CG days when computers did not have much power.

In reality there is no such thing (at least in the way lightwave does it)

You can still use them to give things the look you want, but in a physically accurate render it's best to dial them in with reflections

Exclude from Vstack is not supported by Kray.
Like it was already mentioned you can still use specularity in some cases, especially when you want to have "reflection" of a light that doesn't otherwise exist as a model in scene.
