The test AMD used to show off Ryzen is open-source, so have at it.

Thanks for link but it is waste of time imho....
Comparing CPU and GPU is like comparing tomatoes with computer mouse. Two completely different technology which has even no common platform. This drift us to dangerous area: when people compare even not close equal systems or use misunderstand technology.
Most comparison is with GI unbiased sampling but nobody compare Anti Aliasing, biased renders.
Of course GI sampling (Unbiased in this case) will be much faster on GPU: small code , multi stream calculation in the same time (CUDA Cores).

But there is solution (for future) when will appear more and more hybrid systems (CPU/GPU). Then, we can really compare....

but it is only cpu-cpu compare, not cpu-gpu. Ryzen it's new AMD's cpu product.

Yes, the new processors looks very promising, especially in terms of performance/temperature.
