Excellent free models for Arch Viz

Post by thomas » Fri Nov 06, 2015 11:58 am

Hi all,

I just wanted to share some of the best free models resources I've found lately. If you have others like this, please share them here so we can all get the most free models that our out there, to use in our Kray work.

Cheers,
Thomas

p.s. Perhaps we should find a way to also share our "converted to LW/Kray" surfaced models here... Although I'm not sure how to do this while respecting the copyright of the original creators...

You're welcome!

This is also a VERY handy page, full of links to 3D models from manufacturers of design furniture and more:

What's the conversion problem? You just load the .obj version and you're good to go! Textures are typically in the V-ray zip-file and all you need to do is set the right image files as textures in the materials - UV map are attributed correctly.

My bad, As I downloaded them in the past they were only Max format, I see they are now also OBJ and that indeed isn't a problem
