liquid surface for wine, oil etc?

Post by ZodiaQ » Thu Nov 20, 2014 11:36 am

I never managed to achieve good results when it comes to having any kind of liquid in glass (see picture)
For example wine in a glass, oil in a jar, juice in a glass etc.
Does anyone have good nodal surface?

There is no way to do that in Lightwave. This liquid material has complicate physics similar to SSS. You must wait for K3 or try make Node with Thickness Node. Actually I try make new surface for that with this Node but is so unclear for me and works strange.
Also caustic is important...so again K3 (there is very fast and accurate caustic)
