Probably next update will be Full K3.0 - almost everything works what we want for K3 - more than in K2.
Start from K3.1 , G. want add shaders ,VPR and real time tone map.

LEM`s in K3 gives almost same effect like Area Lights and still they are not physical lights (no ray tracing: interpolated)...so they are much faster. Different is slight recognizable. K3 has completely new Engine for LEM and Area Lights and now these light sources are close to each others with effe...

Now finally you start push K3 in correct way. Fix AA please: FSAA G4 Quadratic 1.2 for smaller resolution. For UHD you can use FSAA G2 or G3. Just remember fill up scene with photons: 9 passes can be tricky so just in case minimum 20x100.000 must be fired. Good time render! G. wrote me about fixing ...

We still have one bug: FS#218 which create hot photons when activate Direct Light Trace.
This is necessary for more realism - to see in reflection physical lights (Sun, area, IES) and use different levels of blur to simulate realism.

I dusted one of my scene which I did with Waldemar (scene is quite complex and old). No changes at all, except adding Physky. No crash, no problems, first shot! You can notice some strange colors on surfaces: these are Nodes which we do not support in K3 (DP Kit). Preview: K3_.png K3_01.png K3_00002...
