Thanks for the tips :)

WOW, so real. Love these renders. Love the wall corner clean shading.
Any tips? Been having a hard time to get such a clean corner renders. Sometime glowing, sometime un-even.

Interior Flythrough - first attempt

Decided to post this fly-through, been shy about the quality of this project because all done in less than 3 weeks. Low quality stuff. But thanks to Janusz and members in this forum for pointing me the easiest way on baking frame :) 66538195 It seems the vimeo tag is not working, anyway the link > h...

You're right, slightly higher on the saturation, especially the light on wall.

Re: Low Quality - Toilet and Bedroom

After 11 months I rendered still scenes with boxes and spheres. I think it is very good achievement for that short time (especially when it was not daily use) But your 11 months was when Kray is still in development, while I used a finalized Kray where everyone share their experience in this forum ...

Re: Low Quality - Toilet and Bedroom

I used Kray for almost a 11 months now, but not on daily basis. May be few times a week. I tried many method to achieve the result, but really not easy. Sometime forced to render object alone or use incidence angle target to light. But this is not a good solution, too many complicated steps to creat...

Re: Low Quality - Toilet and Bedroom

I'm still far away to compare with all the masters here. Surfacing experience still not good enough. Especially fabric, very very hard to create realistic fabric surface. I really wish I can understand how Artattak texture his sofa fabric > http://www.kraytracing.com/joomla/forum/index.php?f=6&t...

Re: Couple of renders

Nice render :) more please?

Btw: I have a small question, as for renders no.2, on top right, you can see the corner's [as attached], I've been having this weird corner issue. Is there anyway to solve this?

Currently I fake it with Ambient Occlusion just for the corners.

Re: What is your vision of future rendering engine?

For me, would be more integration with other 3D Packages, something like how vRay is. Am really wanting Cinema 4D support as well as Lightwaves. Hi jburford, Integration with other 3D packages is a definite. However as resources are limited in Kray Development team. Kray 3.0 SDK development has bee...

Re: What is your vision of future rendering engine?

Lightwave is not for me "tiger of coding" , it has the worst engine render ever! And one "small" guy wrote Kray which beats LW in many points. In so many years they did nothing with the most important part of software... Totally agree with this :D Will photon be blocked by trans...

Re: What is your vision of future rendering engine?

As memory management is an issue for GPU + CPU renderer. As the software need to analyze the data then organize which part send to GPU and which part send to CPU. In this case then stand alone software is needed. As Lightwave itself still haven't includ GPU into it package. Would Photon calculation ...

What is your vision of future rendering engine?

As Kray 3.0 development is still in progress. I wonder what is your own vision of future render software. As some user here have experienced with other render software (e.g. Vray, Octane, Maxwell and etc), I wonder what really end users dreamed to have in their workflow besides rendering speed. • OC...
