the moment i got my machine in the office upgraded, i started using uncached GI. it has a different quality and im not saying cached gi has no quality, im just lazy using it.

please take jnom and jure's explanation (experts) to why i like uncached.

@Jure, the pc in the office im using is hp z400 i think. mid range only. it has single 6 core, 24 gb memory, quadro 4000, win7 64bit. that is why i am forever uncache user now. :D at home im using dell t7400 quad core, 4 gb memory, quadro 1700 winxp 64. yup i tested this scene at home and no way it ...

thanks Jure, yup i did use dp's occlusion node. just trying how fast is it with kray. for this resolution it took 9 minute. uncached, photonmapping and all settings on LOW. my spec is 6 core win7 64bit.

yup im using uncached GI. im loving the result of uncached and i dont want to go back to caching GI. my FG min ray is 4000 and max ray 0.

what amount i should use for the ref blur min/max setting?

can anyone help me out to smoothen the reflection blur on my wall? they are all aluminum cladding material and i cant get rid off of the noise. also a screen shot of my ref blur setting aside. thanks.

im using latest beta of 9.6.1 and whenever i load a srf file with nodes, it doesnt upload the node material or when i click on the node there is nothing in there. what im doing at the moment is redoing some of my node material which is so frustrating. thanks in advance.
