That's great, will the beta test versions be available to existing Kray customers? I've been patiently waiting years now for something beyond Kray2 with better buffer support, etc.

Thanks Janusz, Jure, Gregorz & co.!

Re: What improvements would you like to see in Kray next?

So if you're going multi-platform, that would seem to imply a new, separate material/surfacing engine as well. One of the things that Vray has, and which would be really nice in Kray, is both more physically-realistic/calibrated materials, and support for specialized materials. An example of the la...

Re: Kray 2.3 update released

Is there a list detailing the bugs fixed in the 2.3 release anywhere? I've encountered various bugs mentioned in threads in the customer help forum, and would like to which I should expect to be fixed, and which were not fixed in 2.3. Thanks!

Re: Kray 2.3 update released

Is shadowdensity supported in 2.3? Or only constant value? It would be great to have a mini update that would include support for shadowdensity. I included the sample scene. I usually render out moving objects separately as well as the shadow from the main bg render for flexibility and shadowdensit...

Re: What improvements would you like to see in Kray next?

I'm strongly against a free version upgrade, actually. I think a reasonably-priced upgrade would be much better for everyone. The lack of profit incentive is a big part of why plugin authors leave the market, so ensuring they're receiving some reward for all their hard work is a very good thing in m...

Re: Kray Keeps on Krashing

Okay, so I realize this thread is a bit old now, but your last comment got me thinking (and I needed time to recover from the headache that caused)... Imagine a scene with a glass bowl of various gemstones, and a spotlight shining into/through the bowl onto a neutral-color tabletop below. Since you'...

Re: HDInstance vs KrayInstance

Any chance we'll see HDI-like placement options, and instance offset animation in Kray any time soon?

Re: KRay 2.0 LScript UI Re-Layout Test

Definitely like the banner without the "double-k", but am really fond of the actual layouts in the one with the double-k banner. Might want to consider removing the "masthead" info from the "Physical Sky" banner (e.g. have one version for the General dialog with "m...
