Re: Fabienne Bulle Architect _ DRPJ project

Love it (as I told you before) - but those gray matter people animations just seem to blow the whole thing of. Otherwise it's so freaking realistic and then this...

Would be neat to see the animation without fusion comp of those stupid 3d humanoids... ;)

Re: exterior project revisited

Here's another one even bit more "refined" (of course it's taste as well what look you want to achieve with the final image...)

Re: exterior project revisited

Hey! Been quite a while since I've been here and checking out what's happening. First of all, pretty nice work - one thing to remember (me and Johny nowadays tend to fight over this I think ;) ) is post processing. If you have good enough light setup and balance (of course you need good materials an...

Couple fast renders

Here's a couple of latest renders from a project I cannot tell anything about... :) I cannot send bigger either, but just wanted to share something with the community... Work was made from the scratch in around 7 hours including HD-resolution renders, and they're far from finished yet... Just gotta ...

Re: New Wip ...

I like your lightning, so things strike me most and let down the great images: 1) Focus on the texturing after you got the lights down, some leather / plastic surfaces are way too high reflective and seem plastic / slippery 2) Focus on the models, the exteriors look great in lightwise and house, but...

Re: some renders

Great to see you back! :) Excellent stuff, although some of them are a bit too "V-rayish" for me if you know what I mean ;) Colours are very well executed, lightning at some point is a bit too over the top with the colours (if you compare to professional photographs) but that can be easily...

Re: old house interiors

As thumbnails the images look stunning! I would focus on the final Antialiasing more, I think there are not big "bugs", some materials seem a bit flat compared to others, but other than that they're top notch!

Re: Super dark scenes :x

I just noticed, that you have windows / doors on the left side too (from the camera). That means you need to add area lights there too, to produce the effect and light inside. You cannot achieve good light in the real world with that one window either... Here's my 2 cents for it, 2 area lights, plus...

Re: Super dark scenes :x

Yea:

Move area light inside, put these properties to the area light:

Inverse Distance^2, range = 5 meters
Intensity = 5-10% (see what works best)

Photon multiplier (motion options for light) = power multiplier = 3

Re: Pro Arch vol II preview

To clarify some points. It's not all just "scene objects" you get in the package, if you compare to evermotion. You will get COMPLETE surfacing setup for each object, materialtype (fabric, bedsheet, porcelain, chrome, floortile, floorparquette and so on...). So differing from the "content...

Re: blurry reflections lw vs kray.

Geo: I think the conclusion is: LW render on quadcore (4 cores) 25 minutes. in 8 core with Kray, 5.30... so in quadcore it would be 11 minutes... you do the math which one is faster... :D

Re: Pro Arch vol II preview

You have propably understand us wrong. The base idea of the package is not the scene and models, it's that it includes everything. We are not talking about Kray manual, but very deep explanations with the scene to give the understanding of using Kray from scene to scene receiving good solid renders....

Re: Pro Arch vol II preview

It is true. What we aimed here is professional people who really want ALL the secrets of Kray mastered. This is not to be compared with the Vol1, which had the basic Kray setups along the way, without any nodal surfacing for materials and so on.

Pro Arch vol II preview

Hey! It's time to announce, that we are working on the Pro Arch Vol II. The package thinking has been changed from the first version to whole another. Instead of trying to compete with Evermotion producing 10 average scenes / package, we will push the limits and create the ultimate scenes with ultim...
