Re: Bathroom Quicktime VR

Nice tiling. Is it a bumpmap, displacementmap or normalmap. Haven't played with Kray in a while, i'm not sure if normalmaps are working now.

That would be hard to tell, since nobody will know until the Beta comes out at the beginning of march. I don't think any of the dev.team/internal testers has newtek insight nor do i think G. has seen or heard anything specific about the insights or code. But then again, it doesn't really matter, sin...

See if i'm right about "Exposure" using a full frame for it's calculation. The guys at the Newtek-forum should know more about this. About the size of the meteringspot: all digital camera's have it. The cheap models use spot, or small spot only. More expensive types give you the ability to...

I've done some small tests and it works as a charme. Oke, i realise it's not automatic, but just set a good exposure for outside and find a good exposure for the inside. Then envelop keys from start to end, and where you want the fade. After that, add Bloom to add some intrest to outblown parts on t...

Correct me if i'm wrong, but the delay is not going to smooth the difference in exposure. That would explain the flicker too. Auto-exposure on camera's use either spot, matrix, etc. to calculate the correct exposure. Full-frame analyzing is most of the times not wanted, since there will always be a ...

Oke, more issues at a "fun-project". This time, i've set up my glass using the old-fashion surface editor. I get strange triangles rendered out of kray. These do not appear in lw. BTW the object is a frozen subpatch (poly only therefore), 'cause of matching the liquid with the glass. I've ...

Yep, you're right. I meant the incidence angle. I've attachted two screenshots. The first (named 1.jpg) is my material as i would use it in LW. The second is an lighter version since Kray doesn't need the spotinfo for airpolys.

The bug still exists in OB6.5 and not only affects the colorchannel, same crash happens when i connect a gradient to the reflection- or transparantiechannel. Needed for great looking glass.

Lots of AA and motionblur can reduse this effect. But sometimes there's no time.
