Re: Creepy scene look

Use lower gamma, limit the number of bounces and do a LOT of post processing, to make the image more contrasty and gritty

Re: hypervoxels with no alpha

Just checked it and you're right hypervoxels don't really affect alpha, I'll file in a proper bug report.

Re: hypervoxels with no alpha

So the problem is that no alpha is produced from hypervoxels?

Re: Simple Scene - Elevator

Good work.

Now. The background is too blurry while there isn't a hint of DOF in the scene. So it just kinda looks fake.

Also some minor AA issues on the floor, but it's not too bad.

Re: Not many rendered humans or organics in here!

Kray is a renderer whose strong point is rendering GI intensive scenes, so people render GI intensive scenes.. :)

Re: Questions about KRAY!

1. Is it only when I create all copies/instances in KRAY I will be able to take part of KRAY´s increased render speed? I thought KRAY would add it´s render speed to any item that is created as an instance in LW! No. Instances are just another bonus. Keep in mind that Kray's strong point is doing GI...

Re: whipped cream...

What kind of material is your sofa supposed to be?

As others said, some kind of subtle bump map might help, but I'm not sure what kind of material you're going for.

On the begining the render work fine but when i make changes in mesh appears this box transparent on my model.
I fix this separating the object from wall.

Re: Rendering to hdr

To clarify, the image you see in the kray preview window when rendering hdr is an ldr image with gamma 2.2.

Re: Kray displacement

That's not displacement, it's instanced batches of clipmapped polygons with a grass texture on them. It works very well for grass but it's not displacement.

Re: wip giving skyportals a go

The lighting looks very good, but as darickster said, some materials look duller than they should. Adding some reflection to some should solve this.

The High AA settings are overkill for such a high res, you probably don't need FSAA for that. About the exposure thing, it could be a bug related to AA, I noticed something similar with some pixel filters when FSAA is used. I suggest you use Grid 2, with 0,1 on all detection settings, no FSAA, thick...
