Re: Is this forum dead???

Wow. Some clear info about that might be interesting for potentially interested user (and potential buyers).

If I would be in the market for an arch-viz render engine and came here, I'd think development had stopped...

It will be more perfect if the smoothing or ugly UV seam issue on the flower pots is fixed :D

Re: Attic V2

Beautiful work. No comments on the render quality, but as an interior designer I would put a monumental artwork on the left or right wall - like a huge photograph of dark ocean so something similar!

Re: attic

Beautiful render, but as always I try to find a point of improvement ;-) This time: you can see the vertical repetition in the brick pattern, especially due to that one weird brick at the right. I would shift the pattern to the right of left on the top floor, so you don't see the vertical repeat so ...

Re: LOOFT INTERIOR high rendering quality.

That looks amazing - which I had your skills. Here's my constructive criticism about what's giving away the fact that it's a render. Since the render looks technically perfect to me all I can talk about is the furniture and detailing in the scene. 1) I really like the stage design - I'm European ;-)...

Re: For fun kray 3,035

Hi Janusz, This is where I think you are wrong and very biased by your own line of work. We run a design and branding studio with 35 people, so I see a lot of different material coming from different sides. Almost 50% of what I see these days is graphic designers doing 3D and motion work in Cinema4D...

Re: For fun kray 3,035

For the record: Ideart, it was very clear to me that you were only talking about the statue-render that Artattak posted when you said "for fun, not professionally". I think we all can agree that Kray can very easily be used professionally for other types of renders, most notably arch-viz i...

Re: For fun kray 3,035

The "plaster walls" comment is a bit crude, but I get his point. I mainly do product renders now, and have switched from Kray to Octane for this. However, I still love Kray and would prefer to do all my renders with Kray. For the past year I have been waiting for a simple but perfect glass...

Re: Interior

It's a nice render, but the shadow on the white wall right next to the windows is very noisy. I'm surprised to see this noise a 31 minute rendering on your supercomputer at 1600 px wide - probably because it is full brute force path tracing. Is it possible to optimise the render time using smarter p...

Very nice! The tonemapping is little too bright on my screen, but besides that, perfection!

Re: Subsequent K3 tests. Fabrics, ILS HI poly objects

One day we will look back at archviz renders from 2019 and laugh at all the sloppy carpets. Today's sloppy carpet is like 1995's lens flare :D
