Again is something wrong with embed videos....ok Jure will fix it.

Looks nice, any details about speed render?
Soon I will make new article about baking system how keep all procedures on correct track and make it easy. I remind: bake system is very valuable, because Anti Aliasing in Kray with Ray tracing mode is very fast...and will be much faster in K.3.0.

hi janusz
insert vimeo video with [vimeo][/vimeo] not read it.
are 150 frame but during the editing i've extended the time for 3/4 sec.
i think one problem is vimeo compression

It is problem with Kray forum (again)

I tried edit Your post to fix it but it did not work.
Should be simple: [vimeo][/vimeo] and inside only 68054766.

Vimeo has his own codec same as Youtube, so it doesn`t matter what you upload - all the time video will be re compressing (I talk about free accounts). I was thinking to upgrade Vimeo Plus account but is too expensive. Is better to buy host for same price. Of course You will not have streaming system but You can storage your original videos without limits and use it on your page. I use this in my video link on my page - you can check. Player use pre-loading system. Is not that perfect as streaming but I have my original without re-compression, unlimited space, no waiting, no ad in player, etc.

This is what use Vimeo for example:
HD 16:9
1280×720 .mp4 container
video: H.264 codec @ 2000 kbits/second 2-pass VBR (I think should be 3000 minimum. Is really good, when they use 2-passes)
audio: AAC codec, 128kbits, stereo 44.1kHz (I think should be 196 minimum)

So the best solution for Vimeo is upload video as much possible with High Quality. Because re-compression will again reduce quality.
Actually H.264 codec @ 2000 kbits/second 2-pass VBR is quite good but uploading there to high compressed video will produce after re-compression really bad quality.

So what is the time render per frame?

after bake render time is 3/4 min for frame.
without bake 8/10min for frame (2 pass)

edit: 1 pc i7 2600CPU 3.40GHZ - 8GB

Then, can be something wrong :)
The minimum ratio should be ~4-5 times faster (it depends from scene, more reflection surfaces longer ray tracing phase). Perhaps in Final Gathering You had medium setup also - why is "small" difference. Anyway, wait for my next tutorial about how setup whole process. Will be very interesting
